Summary

m2r Education are looking for experienced Kindergarten, Reception and Year 1 teachers for this British (K-12) International School in Cairo. They have approx. 1000 pupils from 30 nationalities and provide Cambridge International and London Edexcel examinations and teach the Cambridge Primary Curriculum along with the International Primary Curriculum.

The school is in the clean and green suburb, about 15 minutes from Cairo airport and 45 minutes from the city. Cairo in fact is comparatively inexpensive when contrasted with London or New York and the disposable income proportion is much higher in Cairo too, so teachers can live very comfortably and also save money.

School hours are 7.30am to 3pm, Sunday to Thursday.

The teaching year will begin on 1st September so you must be able to join before this date.

All vacancies are open to both UK qualified male and female teachers.

Minimum criteria to apply:

  • BA from a recognised, accredited university, ideally in a related field
  • K-12 certification from the UK (PGCE or equivalent)
  • 2 years’ teaching experience with K-12 students in related field
  • Experience of teaching the British curriculum
